Inaugural Golf Classic to Fund WCJC Scholarships

WHARTON, TEXAS – To provide scholarships for Wharton County Junior College students, the college will host its inaugural invitational golf classic on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Wharton Country Club, with all proceeds benefitting the WCJC President’s Scholarship Fund. The four-player scramble will have separate 18-hole shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Teams are now forming with an entry fee of $300 per four-person team and $75 for individuals.
