Fort Bend Symphony announces 2012-13 season

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra has an exciting 2012-13 season planned that includes a masterful blend of classical and popular music. The five-concert subscription package is now on sale and provides savings over individual ticket purchases.

The 2012-13 concert series includes these concerts:

Hauntcert on Oct. 28, 2012
Halloween tunes and magical surprises, including the spellbinding “Invisible Conductor”

Deck the Halls on Dec. 2, 2012
A mix of popular and classical Christmas music

Orchestral Masterworks on Feb. 17, 2013
Featuring the music of Ravel, Sibelius and the “Enigma Variations” by Edward Elgar, plus a spectacular performance by the winner of the FBSO Young Artist Concerto Competition

March Madness on March 23, 2013
A concert of the world’s best marches from Star Wars to Superman and more

From Russia with Love on May 19, 2013
Featuring Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 2”

All concerts, except March Madness, begin at 2 p.m. at the Stafford Centre, 10505 Cash Road in Stafford. March Madness begins at 7 p.m. at B.F. Terry High School’s Graeber Auditorium, located at 5500 Avenue N in Rosenberg. Parking is free at both locations.

Season Ticket Information
The five-concert series for FBSO’s 2012-13 season is available for the special subscription price of $110 (box seats), $70 (main/mezzanine seats) and $50 (balcony seats). A discount is provided for seniors over 55, military and students that reduce the five-concert series to $90, $50 and $30 based on seat location. Children 12 and under are free, but must have reserved seats.
